Lulu is almost 3 and has a ton of opinions – and after I attended a recent event where they painted my nails she has been obsessed with having her nails painted. I started with children’s organic food and veggie based nail polishes that are quick dry and smelled like fruits but that stuff chipped or washed away in like 20 minutes. It seems great if they are the ones painting but wasn’t great for me who had to redo her nails several times a day… so, we moved quickly into using my adult nail polishes and I’ve been so impressed with how she sits still while they are being painted and drying. I have a pretty impressive selection of nail polishes and nail art devices I’ve collected over the years – so it’s super quickly become fun to try to come up with ideas based on her requests – like the latest: Merida Nails or last weeks, Anna Toes and Elsa Fingers.

Elsa Fingers

I had to use this polish that’s actually named “Elsa” that has Snow Flake Confetti in it… the only downside is it’s very stingy with snowflakes so we only get 1 snowflake on all 10 nails…

Next Up? – Lulu is asking for Cinderella toes…. should I just give her clear polish and tell her it’s glass slippers?
