Fashionably Nerdy is the epicenter for a geek community that is committed to discovering the very best in everyday geek fashion, and connecting designers with fans.

Founded by actors, writers and producers, Samantha Mason and Stephanie Pressman, Fashionably Nerdy has become a cross-platform media outlet that allows geeks from all over the world to explore new trends, discover new designers, and express who they are through the use of fashion.

In 2015, Fashionably Nerdy is introducing a new fan produced segment called, “Show us your Style” that invites anyone from the community to send in photos and videos of their own geeky wardrobe pieces, highlights and clips from their nerdy parties, weddings and festivals, and even their own designs for clothing and jewelry. This segment is being introduced as part of the creator’s initiative to give the show to the people and to continue to foster a sense of permanence in the geek community.

Fashionably Nerdy is a team of six geeks, who are all extremely active in the nerd community. Samantha Mason (Co-host) has appeared on Girlfriend Intervention on Lifetime TV, produced and starred in Legends of Atoll, and was featured on G4’s Attack of the Show. Stephanie Pressman (Co-host) is an actor, host, writer and producer whose credits include Buzzfeed videos, The Geekie Awards, MsInTheBiz, Stalking LeVarJet Set NerdsGeek 360, and Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD After Show.

Xander Jeanneret (Male Fashion correspondent) was a season two finalist on TBS’ King of The Nerds and returned to the show as a behind the scenes challenge correspondent for season three. He has hosted shows such as Super Anime Smackdown and Under the Table. Anastasia Washington (correspondent) is host of Jet Set Nerds, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD After Show, and Ru Paul’s Drag Race After Show. She is also the creator and co-star of the web series, Joyride.

Bonnie Gordon (correspondent) joined our team early in 2015. She was a season one finalist on ABC’s The Quest, and is a member of a popular nerd parody band, Library Bards, alongside Xander. Our newest addition, Meli Lovio Sanchez (Geek Chic Mom and Kids Correspondent) runs the popular geek fashion and Lifestyle blog, Melificent and is also a chapter officer for Geek Girl Brunch Miami.

In 2015, Fashionably Nerdy will be introducing segments for men, children, babies, maternity and even for the home. As the second year of the show begins, Fashionably Nerdy has already partnered with Geek Fashion Week, The Geekie Awards and the second annual Her Universe Geek Couture Fashion show, that will be held at San Diego Comic-Con.

Being a nerd is being an outsider. At Fashionably Nerdy, we envision a place where  everyone can belong through fashion.
