the dress is available for a limited time and comes in both Standard & Plus Size options.

We realized recently that we haven’t given reviews yet for this collection and wanted to make sure you got a full scope of these pieces…

So, this is the Poe Flight Dress designed by Leetal Platt and Modeled by friend of Fashionably Nerdy, Kat Andrusco. (These photos were taken specifically for FashionablyNerdy.com)

The Description on Hot Topic Says:
Feel like you can fly anything in this Hot Topic exclusive dress from Star Wars. White dress features quilted vest details with embroidered control box at waistband and applique Rebel symbol on the skirt. Bonus: it has pockets!

“We wanted to bring in the pilot’s flight suits as a universal appreciation for the rebellion. The design of the vest and panel were plenty obvious, but we had fun translating it with modern fabrications like embroidery and stitching.” – Leetal Platt (2015 Her Universe Fashion Show Audience Winner)

Why we love this dress?

Leetal is known for her custom tailored pieces that have lots of structure and are flattering on most figures, this dress is no exception… it has a nice thick structured fabric that has tons of good stretch in it. It has detailed faux leather seamed side panels that lend to the dress looking extremely high quality and expensive and are also very flattering.

Kat is wearing a standard size Large.

The Rebel patch on the skirt is whimsical and cute without ever aging the dress down and making it look too “young”.

The almost sweetheart shape around the neckline is gorgeous and hugs cleavage in a beautiful and classy way.

The shape of the sleeves and armholes is very complimentary to all arms and doesn’t cut in at all.

Anything we don’t like about this dress?

There is very little to dislike. This has always been my favorite piece in the collection. If there was one thing I might change about it, perhaps like a 1/2″ more fabric on the skirt… It is a little short, but that’s probably because I’m super modest.

(For Perspective… This is me wearing the exact same dress in a size Large –
and I wore it to a rehearsal dinner for a wedding… and shocker I was not
the only one wearing a Star Wars dress because I have awesome friends…
also, side note: I am extremely pale)

If you are a Star Wars fan – this dress is truly a must have!
It’s comfortable, high quality, and extremely flattering on all body types!
AND IT’S ONLY $28 (plus size) or $44 (Standard Sizes) right now!!!
