Being a big Ol’ pregnant lady can be rough from a fashion stand point… none of your fancy clothes fit but you have a wedding to attend (or a couple of weddings, bridal showers, your own baby shower, and 6 red carpet events – if you live in Los Angeles, like me) and you don’t want to spend a fortune on a bunch of new maternity dresses that you may only wear for 1 event during your pregnancy… right? I recommend finding 1 or 2 pieces you LOVE and splurging a little on those key pieces and trying to get as much wear out of them as possible!
I recently discovered Tiffany Rose Maternity and I was absolutely blown away. Tiffany Rose is a British maternity fashion line that dresses both celebrities and normal folks alike. They have options for formal and informal events and even bridal gowns. They are kinda amazing… they have dressed Audrina Patridge, Chelsea Clinton, Alyssa Milano, Tia Mowry and more…
I received a couple amazingly gorgeous dresses in the mail from Tiffany Rose – check out my unboxing video here:
Not only were these dresses packaged so nicely, but the quality is amazing. I found all 3 dresses to be very versatile and as I am nearing the end of my pregnancy I am not quite sure what I would have done without them – they were truly my go-to dresses for all events.
The Anastasia Gown in Porcelain Blue
I chose this dress on a whim – I knew I wanted a Maxi Dress and didn’t know what pattern to choose. I thought with upcoming holidays and winter — this dress I could easily wear to Chanukah parties, or winter events… I ended up wearing often and even wore it to my baby shower, I loved it so much! The dress has some weight to it because it’s fully lined but it’s stretchy and feels comfy and weightless on… it is so comfortable I never felt like I was in a gown – it felt more like a nightgown but it looked so wonderful and flattering on.
The Willow Dress in Midnight Garden
This dress was a no brainer – I loved the pattern the moment I saw it – the length, the sleeve length, I probably would have worn this dress every day of my pregnancy – I definitely have worn it a lot – to so many parties, showers, events, and just to run errands… I look so put together so easily in it even though it feels like I am wearing next to nothing. It is stretchy and fully lined and everything about it is just perfection from the cut to the pattern — I simply cannot imagine anyone looking bad in this dress. It’s comfy and stylish which is exactly what you need for your pregnancy.
The Eden Gown in Arabian Nights
This dress I admittedly chose just for special formal events… I mean the website says the gown was “Worn by Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine of Sweden”. So, gotta wear this dress when you need to feel like a princess. I just wore it to my friend’s gorgeous 1920’s themed wedding and all the guests were encouraged to attend in sparkly amazing flapper style…. and they all went above and beyond – I was afraid I may not be glitzy enough but sure enough I fit in in my stunning Eden gown. This dress actually reminds me so much of Rose from Titanic… I mean if she was pregnant. I love the cut of the dress, the beautiful lace, its super stretchy and comfortable and I never felt itchy or anything other than like a lovely princess. I also love that the dress does come with a sash (in the unboxing video I didn’t see that it was attached to the dress). This dress is super romantic and dreamy and I highly recommend it for any formal occasion especially if you are going to be IN a wedding – it comes in many different colors including a blush and even an ivory (if you are the bride).
